Birkett Landing, Penn Yan, NY

Work was completed and residents moved into the stunningly finished apartments in October 2013.  The project was a historic rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of warehouses owned continuously since 1913 by The Birkett Mills of Penn Yan. The three buildings dating back to the late 1800s  were originally used to store cotton, buckwheat and, most recently, storage for a local hardware store.

The renovation converted the existing buildings into 13 upscale apartments and leasable commercial space fronting on the Keuka Outlet. Iversen Construction worked closely with the Architect, Engineer and local community to rehabilitate the historic exterior appearance and retained the original timber-framed structure. See the changes made by reviewing the photos below, and visit the new Birkett Landing website and Water Street Wine Bar to stay up to date on all the latest leasing availability!
