Quail Summit Community for Seniors
Whereas government subsidies assist low-income seniors and the affluent can afford in-home care, middle income seniors who can no longer care for a single family home or who need assistance with daily living were until recently without an affordable housing option. Recognizing that need for aging residents in the Canandaigua area, this project developed a vacant lot into Quail Summit Community for Seniors.
Working with a nationally accomplished senior housing manager, a campus community was developed providing three affordable neighborhoods of apartments offering the best in amenities and services to enhance senior’s lives at any stage, thereby permitting a resident to “age in place.”
THE ESTATES – A neighborhood for independent seniors who are self-sufficient.
THE HARBOR – An assisted living neighborhood for seniors who require more support.
THE VILLAGE – A neighborhood for seniors experiencing dementia and the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease.
